The Slate Valley Trails “Youth and Family Programming Committee” invites you to the inaugural Slate Valley Shale Shifters (Youth Family Ride) . All are welcome. Rides will go in green (easier) and blue trails depending on the group, and end with a swim.

Bring: your bike, helmet, reusable water bottle, snack, bug spray (optional), and bathing suits for anyone interested in swimming in the river across the road after!

*If you need a bike, Johnson and Son Bikeworks offers a rental discount for SVT members or Poultney Library card holders.

Minors can participate with a parent/guardian present. Any participant ages 14-18 without a parent/guardian attending the outing must RSVP to info@slatevalleytrails.org and fill out the Youth Participation waiver in advance.
