Come learn about the steel drum, this fascinating instrument from Trinidad, and be part of a steel band for a week.  Stone Valley Arts is offering a Music and Art of the Caribbean Day Camp August 8-August 11 from 9am to noon at the art center. Through drumming and singing students will explore Caribbean music and culture. Working together as an ensemble we will create an original musical production, which we will perform on the final day. Campers will also engage in hands-on art projects  in paper maché, water color painting and printmaking.

No experience necessary.
