Join Slate Valley Trails for this Maplefest Howe Hill Hike. Howe Hill is maintained by Slate Valley Trails.Hike up Howe Hill to the view of downtown Poultney.  We will follow the loop around to the snowmobile trail then follow it out to River Street and walk up the road to Marshall’s sugarhouse. The return will be via River Rd to the church parking lot.  Bring water.

Distance: about 2.5 miles

Meeting place:  United Baptist Church parking lot in E. Poultney

Pace: Casual pace over moderately steep terrain. Come prepared for conditions – snowshoes or traction may be needed.
