Join Slate Valley Trails on this beginner friendly bike ride, at a casual pace. We will ride around downtown, and make 1 stop at a local sugarhouse. The route will be mostly flat and along roads, or possibly the D&H Rail Trail where it aligns with the Poultney River and Rail Trail if conditions are not too wet.

Distance: approx. 6.2 miles

Meeting Place: Main Street at the D&H Rail Trail crossing on the North side of the street.

Commuting by bike to the ride is encouraged.

Please wear helmets and bright clothing.Flashing rear lights are helpful, but not necessary. Families with younger children are responsible for their child knowing the rules of the road. We would like this to be a way to create bicycle culture and awareness, as well as a way to meet new people and enjoy Vermont in spring! No RSVP needed.
