George’s Back Pocket is a rotating cast of musicians who support George Nostrand in his live shows and in the studio. The band’s make-up changes with the seasons. You never know who’s going to be in George’s Back Pocket. Folk, rock, blues, bluegrass all find their way into the musical stew. Regardless, fun is the first ingredient.

The band has been featured on stages in Vermont and have released three albums. George played in various local bands and has opened for a diverse list of artists including Lui Collins, Lee Roy Parnell and Robert Randolph and the Family Band. He’s released three albums with three different line-ups, representational of his propensity for an ever-changing and growing band.
