The Horace Greeley Foundation presents the 20th Annual Writer’s Symposium, a gathering of amateur and professional writers which aims to share knowledge about the field of writing, how to get published, and information about careers in writing.  Writers of all ages and experience are welcome to sign up.

Speakers could include published authors, publishers, special interest writers, editors, professors and teachers, and others with experience in some field of writing.  They share their own experience and writing and include writing exercises for those attending.

The event is held at the United Baptist Church on the beauiful and historic East Poultney Green, which dates back to the Revolution.  The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and there is time during the lunch break to learn more about the history of Horace Greeley and Poultney itself.
