Saturday, 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Maplefest literally takes place all over Poultney!  Pictures with Sugar Bear, 5-K Fun Run, Pancake Breakfast, Official Tree Tapping, and crowning of the Maple Prince and Princess (chosen through an art contest).  Story Time, Craft and Food Fair, hiking and biking, Historical Society exhibit, free horse-drawn wagon rides, sugarhouse tours, maple bake sales, Business Bag or Discount Sales, special foods at local restaurants, Maple Ham Dinner.  Lots to do, bring the whole family!  Sugarhouses are open on Sunday, too.  The Chamber organizes and coordinates the events, provides publicity, and handles the Fun Run, Official Tree Tapping, and Craft and Food Fair.  Always looking for more ideas!
