Poultney Area Chamber of Commerce Presented Jo Williams with its Citizen of the Year Award
Poultney Area Chamber of Commerce recently presented Josephine “Jo” S. Williams with its 2017 Poultney Citizen of the Year award during a well-attended Open House reception event. Presented annually since 1990, the Citizen of the Year Award honors a resident citizen who has made major contributions to the betterment of Poultney; has distinguished himself or herself through outstanding service to the community; and who typifies the true spirit of service and self-sacrifice in representing the finest ideals of Poultney citizenship. As 2017 Citizen of the Year, Jo will be the Grand Marshall in the 2018 July 4th parade in Poultney.
